My grandmother used to live in Westerham with a house right on the busy main road. We used to have to shout over the din of traffic outside but the M25 eased the noise considerably till now Westerham is a nice, pleasant, small town on the Kent Surrey border with very strong links to Sir Winston Churchill who’s home Chartwell is close by as well as the magnificent Quebec House.
