Surrounding the remains of Tenby Castle are several ancient cannon that were once used in the defence of Tenby during troubled times when the town was under fire. They are situated on Castle Hill, the highest headland in Tenby, and look out to sea. Although they are now never called to action they have been well restored and mounted by the Royal Regiment of Artillery and the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers of the School of Artillery in Manorbier.
