Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall was once a miner’s institute and is one of the finest examples of such a building in Wales. It was built with weekly deductions from the miner’s pay and now serves the community as an excellent entertainment venue. The hall has a 400 seat auditorium, a cinema, a snooker room, bar, and conference and meeting room facilities. Its refurbishment has made it one of the best cultural and arts venues in the South Wales valleys.
