Brecon is a delightful small town in the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are many interesting buildings, including a Cathedral which started as a Benedictine priory, and an 18th Century Guildhall. It is the terminus of the Brecon and Abergavenny Canal. The town has a leisure centre and a theatre. A Jazz Festival is held here every year.
