Broughton is an enormous sandy beach in North Gower, at the end of the Loughor Estuary. It is accessible at its southern end from the lane that leads from Llangennith via a caravan site. The strong tides, and powerful waves experienced here make it a less popular place for young families and care should be taken when swimming. However it is very popular for longboard surfing, windsurfing and kite-surfing. Facilities including toilets, café and parking are available to the public at the campsite.
