Caerwent
Caerwent, Chepstow, Monmouthshire NP26 2PG - Wales, UK

Map
Caerwent is a small village in Monmouthshire that has one of the longest and most fascinating histories of any local community. A stone in the parish church confirms that the Romans were responsible for much of the building in the community, dated 75AD. After the Roman occupation the town was a leading force in early Christian development in the area. Welsh Heritage oversees the charming community that has a great many signs of ancient civilisation.
