Cardiff’s annual summer festival seems to get better every year and is a delight for children and adults alike. The huge event which takes place in June, July and August each summer, and comprises street performers, the Welsh proms, an international food and drink festival, fringe theatre, a children’s festival, a carnival and concerts in Cardiff Bay, and, to top it all, the Big Weekend complete with fairground attractions and live performances from some big UK names. And, what is more, the majority of the events are completely free!
