The Carew Cheriton Control Tower is a real piece of aviation history and has played an important part in the defence of the nation, due to the involvement of this airfield in the Second World War. The centre today houses an interesting little museum that is dedicated to telling the story of this installation and others like it during these dark days in Europe.
