There would have once stood an Iron Age fort on this site, and that is why it is of such interest to scientists and archaeologists who have made a series of fascinating discoveries in the area. Many of these pieces are on display at the fort site, as well as some re-constructions of Iron Age buildings and dwellings that have been installed to help fuel the visitor’s imagination.
