This tiny, medieval, austere church stands in a beautiful setting on an earlier Celtic site. Mwnt was a stopping place on the route to Bardsey Island, the traditional burial place of saints. The present church dates from the 14th Century and houses a font dating from that time. It is thought a tall cross once stood on the summit of the 250 foot headland behind the church. Mwnt can be reached by lanes from Cardigan, and from the A487.
