Crickhowell is a small, pretty town standing beside the River Usk. It is spanned by a long bridge dating from the 16th Century. The remains of a castle stand in the town`s park. To the north is a hill known as Crug Hywel and to the west is the village of Llangattock on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
