Cwm Giedd Forest is a quiet secluded area in which to chill out with a picnic, undertake various walks, or mountain bike the woodland trails. There are a number of internal roads and paths suitable for linear scenic walks and out onto the nearby Black Mountains. There is a newly developed circular walk up the river Giedd - returning along the Nant Ceiliog stream. In order to get there, take the A4067 Swansea to Ystragynlais road, turn left up Giedd valley and continue past the end of the public road.
