The Ffwrwm Crafts and Arts Centre in Caerleon offers visitors the chance to relax after exploring the town’s Roman sites. The centre itself houses the Porta Praetoria, the main gate to the Roman City, and is housed within an 18th century walled garden. There are small shops selling Roman and Celtic art, gold, jewellery, and antiques celebrating the Roman heritage of Caerleon and the legend of King Arthur. There is also a restaurant selling Welsh delicacies and many weird and wonderful carvings and sculptures on display.
