Starting in Chepstow and ending in Tewkesbury, The Gloucestershire Way takes walkers through the heart of England. The Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and the Severn Plain are all on the route. Towns include Stow-on-the-Wold, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire and Winchombe. The Way’s theme is "Forest and vale and high blue hill", which is taken from the poem, A Song of Gloucestershire, by Will Harvey. The Gloucestershire Way is 94 miles long.
