Goytre Wharf is just outside Abergavenny and is situated on the Brecon and Monmouth canal. It is popular all year round with local people and visitors alike. There is a heritage, activity and study centre at the wharf which hosts events such as talks, exhibitions, school activities and woodland walks. The wharf itself has an array of pretty canal boats and is an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll and a picnic. Boat trips are also available from the wharf.
