The Griffithstown Railway Museum is housed in a former Great Western Railway goods shed and has been completely restored. It now has a variety of railway memorabilia and model railways for enthusiasts to enjoy. Visitors can see a complete stationmaster’s office and plenty of other artefacts that have been donated from local stations. The town itself has a strong railway heritage as it was named after Henry Griffiths, the first GWR stationmaster.
