Halfway Forest Park is a mountain valley mainly forested with evergreen trees which give way to fields and native broadleaved trees the higher you climb. There is a network of forest roads, paths and trails and several picnic areas. It is a tranquil area with a great deal of wildlife, and good for walking, mountain biking, picnicking, and just getting away from it all. The bluebells on the higher slopes are spectacular in April and June. The park is clearly signposted on the A40 near Sennybridge.
