This beautiful little cottage would have been built around 1820, and represents a fine example of a typical ironworkers cottage in this area of Wales. It is famous because it was the birthplace and early home of Joseph Parry, one of Wales’ most famous composers and a real ambassador for the arts in this country, his work spreading across the globe.
