Llansteffan is a village located near the mouth of the River Tywi, south-west of Carmarthen. On a headland is a castle standing on the site of an Iron Age fort. It has an impressive 13th Century gatehouse. St Stephen`s Church dates from the 13th Century and has many memorials. A coastal path leads to Scott`s Bay and St Anthony`s Well.
