For a tranquil walk, follow the Neath Canal towpath, through Neath town centre to Aberdulais where the basin has a skew bridge and 12 arch aquaduct over the river Neath. Today, passenger barges sail along the restored section of the canal north of Resolven, which has the most stunning views as you walk the 3 mile towpath. ’Ty Banc’, Resolven, a former canalside cottage, is open as a tea and gift shop in season.
