The fen covers an area of approximately 44 acres. Exploring this area is highly recommended for people who love walking and nature, especially those who appreciate the particular flora and fauna of wetlands. The site is adjacent to the Tennant Canal towpath, so you can continue walking and exploring further. Boardwalks provide environment-friendly paths through the fen area. They also mean the fens are accessible to the disabled.
