Pendine Sands is a 7 mile long sandy beach on the shores of Carmarthen Bay. It stretches from Gilman Point in the west to Laugharne Sands in the east. The village of Pendine provides convenient facilities near the western end of Pendine Sands. In the past the sands were used as a venue for car and motor cycle races. Recently Cars can now park on a managed area on the beach. It is a very dog-friendly beach.
