Pendine is located on the coast of Carmarthenshire and this small, seaside resort is known for its wide, long, sandy beach. In 1927 Parry Thomas was killed here, on the sands, in his car Babs when trying to break the land speed record. The story is told in the town`s Museum of Speed.
