Pontypool Park is known locally as the People’s Park. There is something for people of all ages to enjoy in the park which stretches across 150 acres. There is a leisure centre within the grounds, tennis courts, a bowling green, a skate park, a children’s playground, and plenty of scenic walks to enjoy. The park plays host to some excellent summer events including the annual jazz. Entry into the park is free for the jazz but a ticket must be bought to enter the music tents. The park is also home to Pontypool RFC.
