The Higgin Family who lived in this house were not particularly famous, and the building is not in the league of many of the stately homes that one sees across the countryside, but the collection inside is designed to tell the story of an ordinary Welsh family. The property contains many of the original fittings, fixtures and internal features from Victorian times, and the heritage trail helps to bring to life this era, and the life of the family.
