The South Wales Miners’ Museum has a number of exhibitions designed to bring to life the history and heritage of mining in this area of the country. Amongst the many exhibits, there is a simulated mine experience, where visitors can see what it would have been like to work in the dark and dangerous conditions beneath the ground. Other highlights include the Blacksmith’s Shop, the Engine House and the Lamproom.
