Swansea Marina is a great place for relaxing and having a gentle stroll taking in the sights. It is situated in what was the Swansea South Dock Basin, erstwhile home of the deep sea trawlers of the Swansea fishing fleet. This whole area has been sympathetically developed, with galleries, restaurants, interesting sculptures, a theatre and museums. The marina holds a fascinating array of yachts and colourful old vessels which form part of the Maritime Museum.
