Swansea Market is the largest indoor market in Wales with over one hundred stalls. At the original 'super market', you will find an enormous range of Welsh fare. These include local Welsh cheeses, traditional Welsh breads, meat, locally caught fish and seafood including Welsh cockles and laverbread, crafts, flowers, Gower fruit and vegetables, hand-made cards and lots more. There has been a market on this site since the twelfth Century. The present market hall is famous for its great glass roof.
