The Cardiff Waterbus is one of the most enjoyable ways to see Cardiff. The waterbus transports visitors to and from three different locations; Mermaid Quay in the heart of Cardiff Bay itself, the Cardiff Bay Barrage from the Penarth side of the Bay, and Cardiff city centre with its many attractions including the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and the main shopping centre. Mermaid Quay has a huge variety of bars and restaurants and is a hub of activity all year round. Why not take the waterbus from here and visit the amazing barrage that has created the freshwater lake that the waterbus now travels across?
