1st The Queen’s Dragoons Guard was formally formulated in January 1959, when the King’s Dragoon Guards and the 2nd Dragoon Guards were amalgamated. This fusion brought to an end the separate identities of two of the oldest regiments in the British Army. This museum holds a wealth of information that traces back the individual components of this modern regiment, the people that served in it, and the battles in which they have been engaged.
