Often held as one of the finest beaches in Pembrokeshire, Westdale Beach consists mainly of clean golden sands and has excellent offshore views of the nature reserve at Skomer and Skokholm Islands. The cliffs are geologically fascinating, with many rock pools and its remoteness make it ideal for people who want to get away from the crowds. Westdale is a popular bathing beach, but there can be ferocious surf when the wind is south-westerly, so swimmers should take care. From Haverfordwest follow signs for Marloes, and Westdale from there.
