The Welfare is a thriving theatre and community arts centre providing a varied programme of professional theatre, music, comedy, film, dance and visual arts with an excellent reputation. The arts centre presents a high-quality, interesting and unusual selection of professional arts from Wales and around the world. It is dedicated to creating opportunities for visitors and locals to get involved in the arts – by taking part as well as watching! In addition the aim is to develop and support the work of professional performing and visual artists working in this region.
