This grade 1 listed building is home to one of the most famous museums in the area. Opposite the medieval abbey in the centre of the town, the museum is home to a large collection of documents, artefacts and other pieces of art and craft that have been collected over many centuries. You can learn a great deal about the town and its foundations from the collection.
