The museum was first established just after the Second World War in 1946, but didn’t move to its current location until 1969. The museum traces the history of the British airborne forces back to 1940 and follow the progression of the institution right through to present day. There are many interesting artefacts, photographs, medals, uniforms and pieces of equipment on display that bring this history to life.
