Desribed as "The Home of the British Army", Aldershot was given the prestigous title of the most popular place to live in Britain in 2007. The military encampments were established in 1854 and are accompanied by the Aldershot Observatory, The Military Cemetary, The Military Museum and The Parachute and Airborne Forces Museum.
