Ballard Down is a chalk headland that lies between the Bay of Swanage and the Bay of Studland on the English Channel. The area is owned and protected by the National Trust who keep the beautiful environment in wonderful order. The region is home to a variety of wild sea birds and animals. There are also a number of designated tracks and walks through the grassy clifftops.
