Datchet Baptist Church can be traced back as far as 1785 when a group of 'independents' used to meet in a bran in the village to pray and talk about their way of thinking. The church has developed since then and is currently housed in a building on the edge of Datchet Green in the heart of the pretty village. The church is one of the central focuses of community life in the area.
