Bishop’s Waltham Palace was one of the finest buildings of its type in this region of the country, and has been partially restored and preserved with the help of English Heritage. Both inside and out, the palace offers a step back in time for interested visitors, and there are a series of fine architectural styles used around the ruin. In a beautiful area of the countryside, it makes for a great family day out.
