I have always admired Sir Winston Churchill and when my family took a holiday in Oxfordshire Blenheim Palace was high on the to do list. You get a lot for what is quite a hefty admission price with one of the most magnificent buildings I have ever seen plus stunning parkland. Even my kids loved the train ride to the Pleasure Gardens and giant hedge maze and Adventure play area.

At £20 a ticket is quite expensive for a day out but what a day out, the gardens are beautiful to meander around and the food is excellent at both the Water Terrace Cafe and Champagne Bar.
We will be visiting again in the future, not least because it's a relaxing enjoyable day out but there's more eateries to dine at, like the Indian Room, New Oxfordshire Pantry and the Pleasure Gardens Deli - there's only so much you can eat in one go.
