Boscombe Beach is close to Bournemouth but is a much quieter place to enjoy a day in the sun. While the seafront at Bournemouth is clearly visible, the atmosphere on the beach at Boscombe is very different. The beach slopes gently down to the sea which is safe to bathe in and there are plenty of activities for children during the summer months. There is also a pier to enjoy and a promenade to walk along. Close to the beach are toilet facilities and a small shop selling refreshments and snacks.
