A few steps away from the town bridge is the library and museum. The pride of the museum is a faithful reconstruction of the Christopher Pharmacy, which flourished in the town from 1863 to 1986. Many of its older contents had been relegated to back rooms, but here they have been reassembled. The visitor can walk into the past and soak up the atmosphere of an old chemist’s shop.
