The Fordingbridge Doll Museum and Hospital houses a unique collection of dolls established by local artist Daphne Gordon. Over 150 dolls include examples of English, French and German wax and bisque dolls dating from 1835 onwards. Highlights include Diana and Elizabeth Taylor dolls and a doll’s dress belonging to Admiral Lord Nelson’s family, dated 1825. Cream teas and coffee are available and bookings can be made for parties of 4 to 10 guests to dine by candlelight with the dolls.
