This piece of old industrial heritage is a fine example of a mill of its age in the region. At one time this would have been one of the most important pieces of light industry in the region and would have been an essential service for the people that lived nearby. The open mill gives visitors a chance to see the beautiful architecture, and gauge an understanding of how things once worked here.
