The Granary was originally part of Shaftesbury Abbey’s grange at Barton Farm. The medieval building has a fine open timber roof. Nearby are former cow byres. The whole complex is in the care of Wiltshire Historic Buildings Trust, which has found a new use for it. Restored pine furniture can be bought from the Granary, while the other ranges house craft shops and tea rooms.
