Tigers are such fascinating creatures, so magnificent and aloof and even in wide open enclosures at this zoo they continue to exert such presence. At The Isle of Wight Zoo Tigers and endangered large cats are their speciality and I managed to sit in on a most engaging and entertaining talk about the work the zoo does in protecting endangered species before walking around the rest of the zoo with its fine collection of animals. Superb day out in Sandown.
