Set up in 1993, the gallery moved to the town hall in 2004. The aim of the gallery is to give a place of prominence to quirky, adventurous and fun art projects, those that might not usually end up in a gallery. There is a range of exhibitions every year, rotating on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. The gallery is committed to several outreach programmes, encouraging children to get involved in project.
