The Jubilee River was a manmade hydraulic development in the late 1990s to help stop the threat of flooding in the local area from the River Thames. The river has since its creation quickly become a visitor attraction. Measuring at about 11 kilometres long many enjoy walking down the river banks and taking in the local scenery where a great deal of new wildlife is developing around the water.
