Legoland is a bit on the pricey side for my liking but I would still go again. Our children - boys aged 7 and 5 - absolutely loved it. We arrived early and ended up staying until closing, even though we then had to drive back up to Cumbria that night! So there is certainly plenty there for a full day's entertainment.
A few tips to help you get the most from your visit:
1) Get there early. The roads get very busy even before opening time. Arriving too late can severely delay getting a good start in the park when the rides are at their least busy.
2) If you are there in season (eg. School holidays), go for the Q-bots. These are devices that you can purchase that effectively allow you to 'queue jump'. You have to pay extra and they are expensive but, without them, your day will be spoilt with endless queueing.
3) On the new submarine ride, try to get a seat on the far side as you board the submarine. If you end up on the near side, you'll spend most of your time just looking at the walls which isn't so much fun if you've queued for a long time.
4) Try to do any big rides early or late in the day when queues aren't as bad. The peak time (probably 12pm-3pm) is a good opportunity to take 'time out' from all the rides and to go and look at...
