| Designed by Matthew Wyatt , this statue of the Duke of Wellington mounted on Copenhagen originally sat on top of London’s Marble Arch. Removed in 1883 when the Arch was repositioned, the then Prince of Wales suggested it be taken to Aldershot ‘where it will be highly valued by the army.’ |
