The Museum of Oxford is owned by the city council and acts as an excellent starting point to get to know the colourful and fascinating history of Oxford and it’s world famous University. The museum contains a wide array of exhibits and artefacts and a good deal of reference materials dating from medieval times to present day. The Museum regularly hosts guest exhibitions that area touring the world and has close connections with other prestigious museum globally.
